Who would benefit from Startup Launchpad?

Startup Launchpad “cadets” hail from all industries, age groups, and parts of the world. Skill-level and goals vary among the participants: some already launched their startup and want to scale it avoiding pitfalls, some are scaling it globally and want to learn the “American-way”, some are ready to become tech entrepreneurs immediately after the program, while others want to understand what it takes to leave a job to become an entrepreneur. Product managers, freelancers, or developers will also benefit from Startup Launchpad.

The highly interactive curriculum allows Spark Academy to tailor the course on the need of the cadets.


Do I need to have a professional plan/project?

No: find your inspiration, meet co-founders, talk to real entrepreneurs, and gain exposure to Spark Labs’ network of professionals & startup services. Tired of being an employee? Startup Launchpad curriculum will lead you through what it takes to launch and scale a media, tech, and online business. 


How do I apply & sign up?

At Spark Academy we believe that diversity is key to progress: there is no pre-selection process to attend Startup Launchpad. You don’t need a tech background. The Program calendar, enrollment, and payment forms can be found online here. There are not additional fees nor cost. What is included in my enrollment?

Once you enrolled to Startup Launchpad you will automatically gain complementary access to :


WHAT happens if i miss a session?

Students can attend up to two missed sessions in the next cycle, the following month.


Where are the courses held?

Startup Launchpad is held at the very center of Silicon Alley: Spark Labs Union Square, 833 Broadway, 2nd Floor NY, New York.

What is the time commitment?

Startup Launchpad is an immersion program that will allow you to master your startup: cadets meet for four weeks,

Monday & Wednesday, 6-9pm; the last 45 minutes of each class are dedicated to individual help & consulting. 


How many people are in each STARTUP LAUNCHPAD class?

Each class has typically 10-15 cadets who are led by a two instructors and guest speakers.


Do I need specific software programs to complete the coursework?

Cadets will only need to bring their own laptop. 


Will course material be available online?

Yes: course material, presentations, and detailed curriculum will be available on Spark Academy blackboard, online.


What should I expect to master by the end of the program?

  • Understand both the customer and the investor landscape

  • Craft and refine your elevator speech
  • Create pitch document to raise funds

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

You can cancel your enrollment through attendance at the first class. Cancellation is effective when the attendee provides a notice of cancellation at the email address that is found on his/her subscription email.

All refunds will be paid within 30 days from notice of cancellation. Spark Academy will refund the Program fee minus 10% agency.

Any cancellation that is provided after the first day of the class is to be considered null and entitled to no refund.
